Whether in our personal conversations or in our professional interactions, we often want to influence and persuade others. These skills are often essential to achieving our goals. The Intelligent Influence module teaches influence techniques based on both academic research and practical experience. This module includes practical exercises, where students observe techniques and discuss how they might apply those same techniques in their own unique contexts. Intelligent Influence also includes a framework for persuasion that simplifies the process into four easy steps. Students learn how to apply these steps using the Smart Talk model. Students also learn to adapt their approach based to an individual’s unique personality.
